So I went to visit my best friends in Pretoria this weekend, what a blast! Plenty of adult beverages were consumed and we got to shake our booty’s and just catch up on lost time. I always feel so blessed when I visit friends that I haven’t seen in a while, it makes me realise how lucky I am to have such wonderful people in my life. I went to Pretoria, thinking on and on about what I could write about and I’ll be honest in saying it was a bit of a flop. Not that we didn’t have a good giggle about it but what was meant to be a post all about Tania doing my make-up, resulted with me ending up with wonky winged eyeliner (thanks to my twitchy eyelid) and us almost running out of time before we had to rush to the airport for me to catch my flight. All in all, it was such a fun experience! Which means that today I’ll be sharing with you Tania’s make-up favourites of the month. Why not mine? Well that’s because I barely know enough to have a favourite! Tania has always been my make-up go-to gal and it just seems fitting to take a peak into her make-up picks, considering she has so much.
I was truly blown away by her collection and I can’t say I wasn’t a tad jealous, hey all in good time I guess? Well without any further fussing, lets get into it! These are my good friend Tania Laia’s Make-up favourites:
Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar
Great pigmentation and a perfect array of colours for a bronzed eye. Oh! And did I mention it smells like chocolate?! My faves are semi-sweet, milk chocolate, marzipan and salted caramel.
Benefit’s Roller Lash
Roller Lash is perfect for elongating lashes! Mix it with a volumizing mascara and you’ll get the perfect long lash look without adding any extensions!
Benefit’s Hoola and Watt’s Up
The perfect highlighter and bronzer combo – the bronzer is not overly orange and the highlight is the most glam shimmery gold you could ever imagine!
Benefit’s Gimme Brow
My one stop brow shop! It fills in my brows but still leaves it looking natural and also keeps the hairs in place all night long.
MAC Lipliner and NYX Liquid Suede
My MAC lip liner is an oldie but a goodie, in the shade ‘Soar’, it’s just what I need to perfect line my lips. The Nyx Liquid Suede is unlike most liquid lipsticks as it is super moisturising. It has a matte finish but doesn’t leave my lips feeling dry.
And there you have it folks, I tried a few of these items on myself and I have to say I’m quite impressed. As someone who knows very little about make-up, I can with certainty say that these products are worth getting your hands on. If any of these items are your favourite or if you could recommend any dupes then be sure to mention it all in the comments!
Thanks, VB xx
