Creating a film, let alone a fashion film has never been a goal of mine, at least not one that sits high on the list. My brother is the film buff and I’m the fashion lover so when I got the opportunity to assist in producing a fashion film featuring my own third year collection I was blown away.
I was approached by Adrian Lazarus from the Bokeh Fashion Film Society to be one of twelve designers to produce individual fashion films. How amazing? Each designer was paired with a director, in my case I was paired with a director named Andrew Gregory. We were instructed to produce a short film that would be in the running for an award at the Bokeh Fashion Film Festival.
We were nominated in two categories! Once again, goals I didn’t even know I had!
The experience was so incredible, I mean being on a photoshoot is one thing but the detail that goes into creating a film is on a whole next level.

The film festival was spectular and such a glamour occasion! I don’t know how often opportunities like this arise but I would certainly do it all over again in a heartbeat!
If you were ever able to produce a fashion film what would yours be about? What would your collection look like? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below!
Thanks, VB xx
