Spring Summer Wishlist!

With Spring making it’s way here to Cape Town, I thought it would be great to get an idea of what’s in store at the moment and what trends to look out for. It was great fun getting to goof around and try on a whole variety of different looks, some were a definite no for me but for the most part – wow! I love colour and prints and getting to wear dresses and skirts (even though I’m a jeans girl) so having a day of trying out different looks was well worth it. I can’t say that I’ll be able to buy any of these items because lets get real – my heart says yes, but my mind, my bank account and a car that needs petrol says no.

My friend Paige and I went to the V&A Waterfront here in Cape Town and stopped at H&M, Zara and Cotton On to get three different perspectives on what’s on the shelves this season.

Get to see it all in the video below:

If you liked what you saw, please be sure to let me know in the comments what was your favourite and what are you most looking forward to this season?

Also please be sure to subscribe here ☺ as well as to my YouTube channel, all the love and support means so much!

Thanks, VB xx

  • Hello! Firstly- great lip colour- what is it? Suits you so well!

This post has me dyyyying for a shopping outing!! So great how you have picked out specific gorgeous pieces- those 3 shops in particular always seem a bit overwhelming- so full, not always sure where to start. Will definitely go searching for:
H&M: pale blue linen shirt. Jacket not for me- but looks super on you.
Zara: MUST HAVE THAT SPANISH SKIRT!! You are so right- so Spanish/ Portuguese. I love the clown top… very cute.
Cotton on: Playsuits are the best!

By the way- super audio and video voice- keep up the good work!

Any chance of an online shopping version of this? Things get so hectic with little time to visit the mall, but I’m always nervous to buy online… (sizes etc.) A bit of advise on this would really be great! 🙂

    • Hello honey! Thank you! It is Trap by Colourpop and I ordered it online! I’ll be doing a blog post about trying out different lipsticks soon 😀
I would love to an online version of this but unfortunately Cotton On and Zara don’t have South African sites where we can shop from but perhaps I could do it with other retailers that have online brands? Hmm good idea 😉
