Halloween Wrap up!

Hello!

So in case you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that it was Halloween yesterday and we decided to seize the opportunity.

I thus thought it would be great to share the different Halloween costumes I saw and wore.

Saturday: Unicorn

All I can say is, I had glitter everywhere! I coated my hair with glitter gel and my arms with body glitter. The look is simple to recreate – all you need is a head to toe pink ensemble. I wore bright pink skinny jeans that I’ve had since high school (it’s quite surprising that they still fit) and I wore a pink peplum top. Wearing heels didn’t make sense so I wore a pair of pointed pink pumps and completed my look.

I bought a pair of wings from a party store, sheets of pink and cream paper and white ribbon. I used the paper, the ribbon and stick-on diamantes to detail the horn. I also used the paper to create the ears and attached it all to the Alice band. The last touch was the pastel coloured hair extensions that I used as a tail and voila – instant unicorn!

Monday: Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

This look was a very last-minute look for Monday at work. This look was completely created with pieces that I had in my closet. All it required was a pale blue dress, a white button down blouse and black pumps. To complete the look I blushed my cheeks with minimal other makeup and blue ribbon to tie into my low pony tail. The finishing touch was carrying a book and I was set.

Several of my colleagues dressed up too, we had Audrey Hepburn, Wilma Flintstone and a few other classic characters.

These looks were fun, girly and easy to create. Along with dressing up, we decorated a friend’s house and you can keep a look out for a post all about the décor at kaylahoshryevents.

I hope you had a great Halloween, did you dress up or attend any Halloween parties? Let me know what you think of these looks.

Thanks, VB xx
