With summer in full swing, I thought I would share with you one of my must-have summer essentials – the full-piece swimsuit. Yes, I know this isn’t revolutionary but I really do love them. I’ve always been a bikini girl and I even did a post comparing bikini’s and full-piece swimsuits to express my torn feelings. Read that post here – a short girl’s guide: swimsuit edition.
So today I thought I would share with you my 10 reasons for loving full-piece swimsuits, not that an explanation is necessary. Unless you’ve tried one recently you won’t understand, but if you have then you know what I mean. For those who haven’t, I’m here to convert you!
Here are 10 reasons to love full-piece swimsuits:
They can be detailed with multiple straps, rings, frills and cut-outs or classic with two straps.
They can be multiple colours or patterned but can also be timeless in one colour.
They’re slimming and make me feel extra chic and confident.
No chance of any accidental flashes (i.e. bikini top fails or falling off bottoms).
They’re always so comfy!
No need to worry about paying for a top aaaaaand a bottom!
It can double as a bodysuit! All you need is a pair of jeans/bottoms or a skirt!
You can accessorize in so many different ways and always create a new look.
They’re more modest than bikinis but still as fun and stylish.
They’re just fabulous and I love them!
So there you have it, my 10 reasons to love full-piece swimsuits. I know that these reasons might seem obvious but why complicate the situation? Whatever your body shape, you will look and feel amazing in a full-piece swimsuit!
Along with all of this, I thought I would share a video on 2 ways to style a full-piece swimsuit! However, styling options are endless and entirely up to you! ☺
If you’re going to give a full-piece swimsuit a try this summer season or if you have before, please let me know your thoughts. I’d love to hear your thoughts this summer essentials – love it or hate – I want to know.
