Our Spring Picnic

As much as I would love to claim this fantastic picnic, it was not my idea but I did provide the beverages and some comic relief so I feel that counts. Kaylah Walter from KaylahOshryEvents hosted this amazing Spring Day picnic and boy did she go all out! The spread was sensational and luckily we had the weather on our side this time which meant we got to enjoy a picnic in the great outdoors.

What is a picnic without some tasty thirst-quenchers?

What I did was simple, I made two absolutely delicious alcohol-free juices…

Strawberry (2)

• Simple Syrup: Combine 1 cup of sugar and one cup of water, bring to boil and stir till all the sugar has dissolved. Use once completely cooled.

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

We had a phenomenal day filled with friends, family and tons of great food! It’s definitely the start of a new Spring tradition. I loved getting to actually be outdoors, take my shoes off and feel the warm rays of the sun gently kiss my skin. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to do this again soon!

How did you celebrate the start of Spring? I’d love to hear all about it, leave me a comment and let me know ☺

Thanks, VB xx
