Halloween Treats Easy No-Bake

It’s almost Halloween! Which means it’s time to make some Halloween treats! While it may not really be a celebrated holiday in South Africa, I think it’s great fun. I love to dress up, watch some spooky movies and eat special Halloween treats.

The best part about these treats is that they require minimum effort. You won’t need to bake or have a lengthy shopping list. Most of these items you’ll probably have at home (if you have a sweet tooth) or will be easy enough to buy.

Worm Ice Surprise

What you’ll need:

  • White wine/Water
  • Gummy worms
  • Ice Tray

This one’s for the adults who still love to celebrate but want their punch to be spiked. Fill and ice tray with white wine (or water) and then add in a few gelly worms and place in freezer. Simple and yet a perfect way to add a Halloween touch to your drink.

Banana Goblins

What you’ll need:

  • Bananas
  • Caramel treat
  • Chocolate sprinkles/drops
  • Candy eyes/licorice
  • Ice pop stick

Opt for a “healthier” treat by cutting a banana in half and gently inserting a ice pop stick. Coat the banana with caramel and then sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles. Complete your banana by adding your candy eyes or your liqorice for eyes. A tasty and somewhat healthy Halloween treat!

 Spidey oreos:

What you’ll need:

  • Oreos
  • Pretzels
  • Smarties

Simply break your pretzels into 8 pieces, then stick 4 in on either side of an oreo to create the legs. Use a little dollop of caramel treat (see banana recipe) and use it to secure 2 smarties for eyes. Voila! Instant spider that you’ll actually want to be around.

Sweet Teeth

What you’ll need:

  • Apples
  • Mini marshmellows
  • Caramel Treat

Another healthy option – this one is so cute and so effortless. Slice up your apple and coat with peanut butter, place the slices, one on top of another. Complete your treat by adding some mini marshmellows to serve as teeth. Spooky right?

And there you have it! Four delicious treats that are incredibly effortless to make.

While you’re here, why not watch us make these treats?
