5 Stylish Work Day Outfit Ideas

Hello!

Have you been feeling uninspired lately? Not knowing what to wear to the office? We all have those days and it can become so frustrating and lead to unnecessary purchases. I’m not saying you shouldn’t treat yourself, my previous post is all about shopping on a budget but what I’m saying is, you probably already have everything you need to spruce up your look.

Now, I don’t work in an office where there is a dress code but I can relate to wanting to look professional but not dull. Here are 5 Stylish Work Day Outfit Ideas that won’t break the bank.

5 Stylish Work Day Outfit Ideas

MONDAY:

Start the week off with a pop of colour or a statement print. This work day outfit is professional yet quirky and will have you feeling fresh yet formal. This look is perfect for any Monday meetings you might have and will keep you from feeling the Monday blues.

TUESDAY:

This look might seem risque but really it’s all about the dress you choose. The great thing about this work day outfit is that you can re-wear Monday’s linen blouse and decrease your washing load. This look is feminine and chic and screams that you’re a BOSSBABE ready to take on the day.

WEDNESDAY:

It’s midweek! Have some fun with your look by wearing a statement skirt with classic elements. A black blouse is always a winner and will keep you looking professional but still chic. You can also always add a blazer to this look to ensure that you look as sleek as possible.

THURSDAY:

Just because you’re in the workplace doesnt mean you can’t be edgy with your appearance. This work day outfit is all about mixing prints to look professional. Be sure to keep your colours muted and have one bold print and one slightly more subtle. Keep the rest of the look classic and you’re set!

FRIDAY:

Now if you work in a less formal office like I do then this look is suited all week long but if not then hopefully you have casual Friday. If you do, always opt for dark jeans because they can still give your look a office ready appeal. Spruce up your look with a statement blouse that could still pass for any other work day and finish off the look with comfy heels.

Overview

The great thing about these looks is that they are interchangeable. You can mix and match pieces to create different versions of the same ensembles. Also these looks are suitable all year round and will ensure that you feel great and keep your boss happy.

What I love about where I work, is the creative freedom to wear what I like. I know that not all work environments are this relaxed and so I hope that these tips will help you feel great about work again.

If you look good, you feel good and you’ll feel more inclined to tackle the day.

Have you got any work day outfit ideas? Is your work place formal or casual? Or do you perhaps have a uniform? Please share them down below in the comments section!

  • Wow. Love your outfits.
At our work we have unifroms but we are allowed to wear black grey white and navy but so useless with work fashion. Where you buy all your beautiful outfits from? I think you must come and spice my cupboard up hehe
Well done Vee. Keep up the good work
